I don’t know what it would achieve on a worldwide level, although he seems to be doing it for the personal experience. It’s interesting to see the direction a person’s spiritual journey can take, but I find it hard to judge any one path as half-witted or not. Maybe his experience will inspire him to go abroad and help starving people, who knows =)
