That’s right. When you do a fat burning exercise program, you need to eat in a certain way in order to burn fat effectively. That way is called a fat burning diet. If you do not follow an eating routine that enables the exercise to burn fat, you will lose fat slowly or possibly not at all.
But There Are Fat Burning Diets That Promise Weight Loss
It is correct that a diet can give you weight loss. However too many people think that the terms fat loss and weight loss are interchangable, but they are not. Fat loss will not occur from dieting, unless you also exercise. Fat loss does not come from a diet, but weight loss can.
How You Gain Weight
It is not complex to understand how you add weight and fat to your body. By using fewer calories than you consume, you add weight and get fatter.
The extra calories are stored as fat on your body. For every 3,500 calories that you eat and don’t use, you put 1 pound of fat on your body.
This would lead you to think that if you use 3,500 more calories than you consume, that you would lose 1 pound of fat. I am sorry to tell you that if you reverse the process you used to add fat to your body, you will not necessarily take it off.
You will not lose fat, if you try to do so by diet alone. Doing that will result in weight loss. The amount of water in your body will reduce, as will your muscle mass. This results in weight loss.
What Is The Result of Dieting Without Exercising
You may think that you are doing well, because your scales tell you about the weight that you have lost. Your mirror is a better indicator of how you are doing than your scales. Unfortunately, it will show you that the fat you wanted to lose has not shifted. Whatsmore, you will see that in place of some muscle definition that had been there, there is now loose hanging skin.
To top it off, unless you stay on that diet for the rest of your life, you will put the weight back on. Because your body needs a certain amount of water to function properly, it restores the amount of water it needs to function, when you come off the diet. Additionally, it is not good for your health to be on a diet, for a long time, that reduces the water level of your body below what it needs in order to function properly.
You may not like the way in which the body operates in connection with fat, but you need know about it.
Fat Burning Diet: Eating To Lose Fat
You need to focus on more than just what you eat. How you eat and when you eat is also important. You will find alot of written material about what you should eat to achieve fat loss. But, many people feel that eating in this way is too restricting.
If you find it to be too strict, just use your common sense about your diet. You know that frequent fast food meals and regular beer drinking is not going to help you to lose fat.
Eat what you already know is good for you and restrict your intake of what you know is not. If you also keep the quantity of food that you eat down, while following a good exercise regimen, you should burn fat. Having done that, when you eat and how you eat will play a much bigger role in helping to lose fat.
