When preparing meals, vegetarians incorporate dark, leafy greens in order to get iron and calcium. Those who are not vegans may choose to eat fish, dairy products, or eggs. These individuals incorporate low-fat or nonfat dairy products and fatty fish into their diets. The meals should be prepared in a healthy manner using baking or steaming techniques, never frying.
