So I know where you’re coming from when you say that your friends bust your chops about what you’re doing..:)

hi! I’m from Italy, so sorry if I spell something wrong
I’m doing my first water fast, I’m 19 years old… I still live with my parents and they are being so narrow-minded about this! I’m in my sixth day… when I told them I wast doing this fast they were like “uhu…yeah…whatever” because they didn’t believe I could actually go a long time without eating…. but from the third day, they started tormenting me… what bothers me is that they are so uninformed!

The importance of rest is something I believe is paramount. We are so used to doing it is hard to step back. Your mention of vivid dreaming is interesting. Being a dreamer, I dream with better recall while fasting. Yes, fasting is so misunderstood, definitely not part of our culture. Taxing the body is more the norm, not resting. Plus, there is toxicity in chemicalized foods which I feel can be come quite addictive, similar to a drug. All the harder to believe we can do without them.
